DescriptionĄG The Richard Ivey School of Business seeks candidates for a probationary (tenure-track) Assistant or Associate Professor in the Management Information Systems group. The position is available to begin in July 2009. We are looking for team players who are committed to building a world class reputation in the information systems field. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to the practice of management in both research and teaching. The School supports high quality managerially-oriented research targeted at top tier academic journals in all management disciplines. While all strong candidates are encouraged to apply, those with research interests that overlap with one of the School's cross-enterprise leadership centres (Engaging Emerging Markets, Driving Growth through Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Building Sustainable Value, Leading Cross-enterprise; see http://www.ivey.uwo.ca/cel/centres.htm) will be given special consideration. Ability and willingness to teach across a wide range of our programs in either our core courses or electives - i.e. undergraduate, MBA and EMBA - is highly desirable. The Richard Ivey School of Business, London, Canada, is recognized worldwide for the quality of its management education and research. The School's major activities include: a highly regarded MBA program and undergraduate program; a well established doctoral program active in most major areas of management including information systems; as well as, an expanding portfolio of programs for executives, including an Executive MBA delivered in Canada and Hong Kong. The Canadian Executive MBA facilities are located at the Exchange Tower in downtown Toronto. The Asia campus is located at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. This position is subject to budget approval. Applicants should have fluent written and oral communication skills in English.
