Dr. Yuanjie He President

Dr. Yuanjie He is Associate Professor in the Technology and Operations Management Department, College of Business Administration, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Operations from Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. He also received his bachelor and master degrees from Tianjin University in China.

His main teaching interests are supply chain management related areas. His research areas are supply chain risk management and sustainable supply chain management. His work has appeared in journals such as Organization Science, European Journal of Operational Research, and International Journal of Production Economics etc. He is an active member of DSI, WDSI, and ICISA.

Dr. Chia-Hung President-Elect

Dr. Chia-Hung (Josh) Chuang is an Assistant Professor in the Management Department in the College of Business and Public Administration at the University of North Dakota. He has published several articles in the International Journal of Production Economics and the European Journal of Operational Research.

His teaching interests are Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and Logistics Management. He was a receiver of faculty excellence in teaching award from the College of Business and Public Administration at the University of North Dakota. He earned his Ph.D. in Operations Management from the State University of New York at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY and his MBA from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO.

Dr. Wenming Chung is an associate professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management in the Marketing and Management Department. Dr. Chung received his Ph.D. degree in Operations Management and Sourcing from Michigan State University. Dr. Chung had 8 years of work experience in purchasing, manufacturing, and warehousing in industry.

Dr. Chung's research interests include supply chain contract design, supply chain inventory, purchasing/procurement, logistics, and transportation. He has published in the Production and Operations Management Journal, Decision Sciences Journal, IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Business logistics, Annals of Regional Science, and the International Journal of Logistics Systems and Management.

Dr. Jim Q. Chen VP Information Technology

Dr. Jim Q. Chen is Professor of Information Systems in the Herberger Business School at St. Cloud State University. He has served as Chair of Information System Department, President of East Asian Faculty and Staff Association, and Board Member of Shaanxi Folk Association of Minnesota. He is currently the faculty sponsor of a multi-year industry partnership program with an annual budget of $230,000.

Dr. Chen has authored and co-authored over 80 articles and instructional materials. His research work has appeared in journals such as Communications of the ACM, Decision Support Systems, IT & People, Journal of Global Information Management, Asia Case Research Journal, and Information System Management among others. Dr. Chen is an Editorial Board Member for Journal of Internet Commerce and International Journal of Information Systems and Change Management. Dr. Chen holds a Ph. D degree in MIS from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a MBA degree from Northern Illinois University.

Dr. Drew Hwang is a Professor of Computer Information Systems at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Dr. Hwang's research interests include electronic commerce, Internet marketing, design and development of Internet-based systems, secure Web development, mobile website design, social media, decision support systems, expert systems, Web services, Information System education, and many others. He has published many research papers in refereed journals such as Decision Support Systems, Omega, Information and Management, Journal of Information Science, Journal of IS Education, and so on.

Dr. Hwang has also had more than twenty years of industry experiences as a system analyst, project manager, and chief technology officer in the area of business computer information systems. He was the chief developer of eHongKong.com, an ecommerce portal site that has successfully secured a venture funding of US$36 millions from New World Development Ltd., one of the top five enterprises in Hong Kong, in 2000.

Dr. Jerry Cha-Jan Chang is an Associate Professor of MIS in the College of Business and Economics, University of Nevada Las Vegas. He holds a B.S. in Oceanography from National Ocean University (Taiwan), an M.S. in Computer Science from Central Michigan University, an MBA from Texas A&M University, and an M.S. in MoIS and Ph.D. in MIS from the University of Pittsburgh. His research interests include instrument development, IS performance measurement, self-efficacy, software piracy, use and impact of IT, culture aspects of IS, and management of IS.

His work has appeared in MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Information & Management, Educational and Physical Measurements, Decision Support Systems, DATABASE, and Communications of the ACM.

Dr. Yue Zhang “Jeff” is Professor of Information Systems in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, David Nazarian College of Business and Economics, California State University, Northridge, USA. Dr. Zhang’s main teaching subjects are database management and information systems governance and risk management. His research areas are electronic commerce, electronic government, information systems governance and risk management, social media, and virtual collaboration.

His work has appeared in journals such as Communications of the ACM, Journal of Electronic Commerce Research, Electronic Government, an International Journal. He is an active member of DSI, WDSI, and ICISA. Dr. Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Spears School of Business, Oklahoma State University. He also received his bachelor and master degrees from Nanjing University of Science and Technology and Zhejiang University in China.

As the CEO of Study of Global Languages (SOGL), Ms. Ivy (Fang-Ching) Yeh is responsible for running all facets of the language business. Ivy has a proven executive management track record and over 10 years of experience in the higher education field. She created SOGL to serve as a means of aiding those interested in learning a foreign language by allowing customers to practice conversing over the internet via video chat.

SOGL has enabled innumerous Chinese to obtain first hand interaction with someone that is not only fluent with the language, but speaks it as a first language and is accustomed with modern terms and slang. She earned a BS degree in the Business Administration at the Metropolitan State University in Minnesota, USA.

Wei-Hsi (Frank) Hung is an associate professor of Information Management at National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. and Master degree (1st Class Hons) from the Department of Management Systems at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. Currently, he serves as the Director (Publication) of TWAIS, an AIS chapter in Taiwan.

His research interests are in the areas of IS alignment, organizational critical activities, e-commerce, interpretive case studies, and supply chain management. He has published papers in Decision Support Systems, Journal of Global Information Management, Journal of Information Management, International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications, and Pacific Asian Journal of Association for Information Systems.

His academic areas cover data communications, enterprise network administration, and applications programing.

Dr. Xiaobo Wu is Dean of the School of Management and Director of National Institute for Innovation Management at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. He received his PhD in Management Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University. He was a Visiting Professor to Judge Business School and Institute for Manufacturing, Cambridge University, UK, and a Fulbright Senior Visiting Fellow to the Sloan School of Management, MIT, USA. Professor Wu has directed many research projects granted by central and local Government and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NNSFC).

He has published in journals such as the International Journal of Technology Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Industry and Innovation, Applied Economics, and European Planning Studies. He also serves on the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and Asian Journal of Innovation and Technology. His current research interests include information technology and management change, technological innovation and competitive strategy, and strategies for globalization manufacturing.
